In-Cooperation Guidelines and Application

SCS lends its organization's name to conferences sponsored by other nonprofit incorporated organizations. Such cooperation is to be primarily for publicity and to encourage association members to participate by contributing papers and attending technical sessions. If your organization is interested in learning more about the in-cooperation process and applying, please review the SCS In-Cooperation Guidelines. The In-cooperation Application can be found here.

SCS Co-sponsored Conferences

The Society for Modeling and Simulation International (SCS) Co-Sponsors conferences around the world.  Below is a list of a few of our key events.

2024 International Conference on Bond Graph Modeling and Simulation (ICBGM’24)

Co-Sponsored Conference

Hilton Garden Inn, San Diego, California | July 1-3, 2024

ICBGM2023

The 2024 International Conference on Bond Graph Modeling and Simulation is a Co-Sponsored conference that brings together research paper presentations, panel sessions, tutorials, workshops, seminars, industrial applications, and software demonstrations that use Bond Graph modeling methods. There will also be featured plenary speakers and some special invited presentations.
This conference will focus on Bond Graph modeling techniques for dynamic systems. Theoretical principles for electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control system applications will be presented. Leading industrial users of the method in automotive, aircraft, fluid power, kinematics, multi-body systems, and social and biological systems have been invited.

Submission Guidelines
Where to submit: For abstracts and papers, go to: https://www.softconf.com/sim/ICBGM24/ or via email directly to one of the chairs.

Abstracts and full papers can be submitted via email alternatively to the General Chair or the Program Chair. In addition to regular papers of about 12 pages (double-spaced), the program committee may accept additional papers, either as short papers (about 6 pages double-spaced), or proposals for tutorials. Please add a cover letter stating your name, affiliation, mail address, telephone number, FAX number, and e-mail address. The two Chairs will review the short abstracts for general suitability to the conference. Members of the International Program Committee will review each full paper.

The 2024 American Control Conference (ACC) will be held Monday through Friday, July 8-12, 2024 in Toronto, ON, Canada at the Westin Harbour Castle. Toronto is Canada’s largest city and a world leader in such areas as business, finance, technology, entertainment, and culture. Its large population of immigrants from all over the globe has also made Toronto one of the most multicultural cities in the world.

ACC is the annual conference of the American Automatic Control Council (AACC), and is a Co-Sponsored conference by The Society for Modeling and Simulation International.  AACC is an U.S. national member organization of the International Federation for Automatic Control (IFAC). National and international society co-sponsors of ACC include the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE), American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), IEEE Control Systems Society (IEEE-CSS), Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS), International Society of Automation (ISA), Society for Modeling & Simulation International (SCS), and Society for Industrial & Applied Mathematics (SIAM).

Simulation for the Imagination Age:
Unlocking the Value of Imagination with Simulation

Winter Simulation Conference 2024 highlights the value of simulation for imagination work, that is, the work of system designers, creators, and innovators. The advent of modern simulation models and Digital Twins, powered by AI/ML, the Internet of Things, and advances in statistics and optimization, can provide unprecedented analytical insights for designing, planning, and operating complex systems. These sophisticated modeling and analysis tools promise to shift the economic value of human capital from analysis and rationality to creativity and imagination. We invite papers that emphasize the latest advances in simulation theory and applications showcasing the power of simulation for imagination and creativity. We particularly encourage applications of simulation to imagine and create new and improved systems in a wide range of domains, including but not limited to aviation, disaster response, education, energy, finance, healthcare, infrastructure, manufacturing, national security, space systems, and supply chains.

Winter Simulation Conference 2024 will continue the tradition of including pre-conference workshops, introductory and advanced tutorials, commercial case studies, poster sessions, and the Ph.D. Colloquium. It will also host the 20th International Conference on Modeling & Analysis of Semiconductor Manufacturing (MASM).

Winter Simulation Conference 2024 will be held in Orlando, Florida from December 15 to 18, 2024. The Orlando World Marriott Center features outstanding comfort and style, just minutes from the hottest attractions, entertainment, and dining options. Join us in Orlando for the leading conference in the field of simulation!
