Have you ever played video games or computer games that simulate aircraft cockpits and the fight for airspace? If you grew up to be an Embedded Software Engineer for aircraft simulators - we are looking for you to work on our famous and world-known F-22 Raptor and F-35 Lightning II fighter jet programs!

You will smartly participate as a software developer for high fidelity man-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop flight simulators and laboratories in support of 5th Generation Fighter (F-22 and F-35) programs. Your success will include working on the design, development and integration of state-of-the-art, real-time simulation components. This software will be developed primarily in Ada with some C++. Responsibilities include Electronic Attack / Electronic Protection (EA/EP) modeling, simulation, analysis and characterization of various systems. Additinoally, it will also include design and development of new and existing EA/EP systems within high fidelity simulation environment. This position will also include developing, assessing and validating all EA/EP related requirements of the simulation environment. We need you to possess knowledge of the processes and procedures required for validation and verification of models and simulations, as well as have the ability to lead and participate in modeling, planning, simulation, test, execution and analysis. This intense work means that you will be participating in working groups, peer reviews and other technical meetings. Most helpful will be your ability to self-motivate, possess strong oral and written communication skills, and have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.

The selected candidate must be willing to work a flexible schedule when required to support lab development and integration activities to meet program needs. On occasion, the odd shifts could include nights and/or weekends. Selected candidate must be willing to travel occasionally within the United States if required to meet program needs.
