SCS Historical Newsletter: April 1954 No, the Simulation Council hasn’t had twins, although the Midwestern Simulation Council and the Industrial Analysis and Control Council are being born about the same time. Only the Midwestern Simulation Council is a direct offspring of our efforts. The Industrial Analysis and Control Council is the name which was selected by the group started at Sybil Rock’s (Electro Data Company) discussion group at Western Computer Conference which we have written about previously. Although in this latter case we are not a proud parent we are very much interested in this closely allied work ...[...] |
