Let me first of all take this opportunity to wish all our readers a very happy, peaceful and prosperous 2011. This is the first issue of the second volume of the (rejuvenated) M&S Magazine. A total of 22 articles were presented in the four issues that appeared in 2010 and I sincerely hope that each one of these provided some significant stimulation to a reasonable segment of our community of readers. In any event, since I have received no Letters indicating disappointment in the publication’s content, I would like to conclude that the M&S Magazine is providing genuine added value to SCS membership. (Naturally, if this is an erroneous conclusion, please let me know -- our Letters to the Editor column continues to be severely under-utilized!!) Readers will recall that the Conceptual Modeling Corner of the M&S Magazine was created to provide a forum for discussion of ideas relating to the important task of conceptual modeling within the M&S context.
